ApplianceOps ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ApplianceOps field service management platform at applianceops.pro. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and billing information necessary to provide and manage your subscription.
Business Data: You may enter customer names, addresses, phone numbers, service call details, invoices, parts inventory, and other business-related information into the platform. This data is stored securely in our database infrastructure and belongs to you.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including login times, features used, and device information, to improve our service.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by third-party processors (PayPal, Stripe). We do not store your full credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.
ApplianceOps integrates with third-party services that you may choose to connect:
QuickBooks Online (Intuit): If you connect your QuickBooks account, we access your QuickBooks company data (customers, invoices, payments) solely to synchronize information between ApplianceOps and QuickBooks. We use OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication and store encrypted access tokens. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.
Google Drive: If you connect Google Drive, we create backup files of your business data in your own Google Drive account. We only access the specific backup folder we create and do not read or modify other files in your Drive.
Stripe: If you enable credit card processing, Stripe handles all payment data directly. We store only the Stripe account identifier needed to route payments to your account.
We use the information we collect to: provide and maintain the ApplianceOps platform; process your subscription payments; synchronize data with connected third-party services you authorize; send service-related communications (invoices, notifications); improve and develop new features; and comply with legal obligations.
You retain full ownership of all business data you enter into ApplianceOps. We do not sell, rent, or share your business data with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your customer lists, invoices, service records, and other business information belong to you. You may export or delete your data at any time.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure token storage for third-party integrations, role-based access controls, and regular security updates. While no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we strive to protect your information using commercially acceptable means.
We retain your business data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days to allow for reactivation or export, after which it is permanently deleted. Google Drive backups remain in your own Drive and are not affected by account cancellation.
You have the right to: access, correct, or delete your personal information; export your business data; disconnect third-party integrations at any time; opt out of non-essential communications; and request information about what data we hold about you.
ApplianceOps is a business tool not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
